Solar PV panels for electricity - providing electricity for the B&B and the house.
Solar heating panels - providing most of the hot water during the warmer months (with the rest being provided by the biomass boiler)
Biomass boiler - using locally sourced timber to provide heating and hot water for both the B&B and house.
Recycling - facilities provided for recycling paper, cardboard, glass, plastic bottles, food containers and foil/cans.
Rainwater harvesting - for toilet flushing.
